This picture was obtained by brave Imperial Scouts in the Chaos controlled areas of the Galaxy. It shows one of the black battleships that Chaos uses to spread its taint through the Galaxy.

Watch your skies for signs of the infestation and report them to your local Imperial Forces.

Remember that the Empire's Eyes are everywhere to guard YOU from the foul forces of Chaos!

The model is the Chaos Battleship from Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 range of ship miniatures for their Battle Fleet Gothic rules system. This is a white metal model and fitted together with minimal requirements for filling or trimming. After a bit of trouble actually getting the superglue to work on the model it was soon completed. The paint job was a base colour of Chaos Black with highlights of Gore Red and Mithril Silver on the outriggers and communications masts. The whole was sealed with a matt varnish.
